The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Tuesday (December 20) unveiled its shortlists for the 2023 Oscars, and Sofia’s new song ‘Applause’ is on it in the category MUSIC (ORIGINAL SONG). Nominations voting runs from Jan. 12-17, and nominations will be announced Jan. 24. The 95th Oscars are slated to be held March 12, 2023 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
